Opening of the first children's hospital in Aqaba

the first children's hospital in Aqaba Governorate opened, after the conversion of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Governmental (Field) Hospital, which was established to strengthen the health system during the Corona pandemic, into a children's hospital. The director of the hospital, Dr. Muhammad Krishan, said that the hospital specialized in treating children is considered the first of its kind in Aqaba Governorate and will serve governorates in the south of the Kingdom as well. During his interview with Jordanian TV, Krishan stated that this step came after the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, as the hospital has a capacity of 40 children's beds and a pediatric emergency department. He pointed out that a dialysis unit will be opened soon with high-level cadres. He talked about some clinics, which include 5 specialist doctors, in addition to relying on doctors appointed by the system of purchasing services
